The Distress of Sleepless Hours

Restlessness can possess you like a vice during the night. Every sound becomes amplified, every shadow takes on a threatening form. You toss and turn, your concerns multiplying, desperate for some elusive peace. Sleep, once a gentle haven, has become a distant memory. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity of agony.

We crave for an/a/some escape, a place/safety/shelter where the pain/suffering/anguish can fade/disappear/evaporate, but often/always/sometimes the darkness persists/holds tight/remains. It's in these moments of isolation that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the unbreakable spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

An Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia often feels like suffocating weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, yearning for sleep that just seems out of reach. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity filled with anxieties and exhaustion. This lingering state of wakefulness becomes a prisoner within the darkness.

Aching for Sweet Oblivion

The grip of oblivion was a siren's call, a gentle promise of release. To insomnia symptoms drown in its depths was to still the incessant cacophony of existence. The world's sharp edges dissolved under the influence of its sweetness.

To truly long oblivion was to plead for a fleeting respite from the burden of being.
